Wing Q v3.0.1 does not connect to Console on iOS/iPadOS 18.1
Wing Q app does not search for consoles and also does not allow manual entry of IP address on iPhone running iOS 18.1 or iPad running iPadOS 18.1.
Allows view of the Offline Editor, but after tapping Disconnect, the app only allows the running of the rescan button one then the button is greyed/disabled. The scanning for consoles animation does appear for a brief moment, but does not find consoles.
Tapping the WiFi button on the top right shows the scanning for consoles animation briefly then returns no consoles on the network.
When you are able to tap the Manual button, it allows you to type in the IP address but regardless of what is typed, the confirm button is greyed/disabled.
This was working in iOS 18.0.1 and iPadOS 18.0.1, so something in 18.1 may have broken something. Mixing Station on both iPhone/iPad and Copilot on iPad work fine in iOS 18.1. I know the usual ‘do not to update to the latest OS for a while after initial release’, but thankfully this was on personal devices, not my other devices I use in a critical show scenario 😂
