Wing Edit Surface button selection not saved in snapshot

Using Wing Edit 3.1 on Windows 11 and a Wing Console using firmware 3.0.5.

The surface selection button (see area outlined in red in attached figure) picked in the Wing Edit tool is not saved in the snapshot file generated from the application, but it is when saving a snapshot from the console.

Steps to demonstrate:

1. Run Wing Edit

2. Initialize the console from Setup

3. Open any surface window

4. Save a full snapshot

5. Change the selection in the surface window (e.g., in the above figure, change from “CH1-12” to “USER1”

6. Save another full snapshot

7. Compare the two files; they will be identical

If this process is repeated on the console, the “sel” value under ce_data→layer→”L” will be changed, but not when using Wing Edit PC.

This creates an issue when creating show and snap files on PC and then moving to the console.
