When using more than 12dB cut, some eq points turn grey, but some that are inactive stay l colored

Using mixing station, i can create crossover orders 12 24 36 48dB cut; however, one or more eq bands get used. Sometimes these are turned gray to indicate not in use but on my compact there are sometimes colored eq bands that are not doing anything and should be gray so user doesn't waste time. It incorrectly shows active cut or grain to yellow line but does nothing to the sound.

I can see on wing it even says the filter type. I'm not due how to create these on compact yet, but clearly ther would be a way
