USB Not Registering in Settings After Recent Firmware

At a show yesterday there was an updated Mac and the firmware on the board was updated as well but the USB 2.0 live card was not registering in settings. We were supposed to multitrack and use Waves Rack as well but were forced to ditch both. We weren’t sure if it was a computer specific bug or firmware bug. We have done this before and it worked fine; it just didn’t this time.
