UB-Xa Features, Functionality & Firmware Improvements

A lot of my requests for the UB-Xa focus on the synth’s patch settings being stored on a per-patch basis, such as:-

1. Atrophy settings should be saved with the patch - this really is an absolute must-have(!);

2. The ability for each patch to transmit a Program Change Message (to help with the coordination of external effects units);

3. Octave Up/Down Performance controls saved with the patch;

4. All other features of the Performance Section saved with each patch;

5. The Arpeggiator Clock Source should be saved with each patch;

6. The ability for clocking of the Arp to be dependent upon whether a MIDI clock is present at the MIDI In, in which case the patch should have a clocking source option within it to determine from where that patch’s arp rate is automatically derived;

7. The ability to ratchet the Sequencer (and Arpeggiator - see below);

8. The ability to route Poly Aftertouch to control the degree of Seq/Arp ratcheting;

9. An acceleration feature on the plus and minus ± increment/decrement buttons to advance patches more rapidly with a longer hold;

10. The Oscillator 1 Frequency dial should be able to go negative as well as positive;

11. The Oscillator 2 Frequency dial should be able to go negative as well as positive;

12. The ability to save and load individual patches;

13. An editor/librarian like the one available for the Deepmind.

Hopefully there's something here for everyone … but nos. 1 and 2 are my preference/priority.
