Strange behaviour on Channel Routing

I have an scene created with a source to channel assignment. After that I setup the names, colors and icons of that channels. All in all I used more or less all 40 Main channels. but unfortunately some of the later channels (29-40) were assigned beginning also with AES50 A29. But then I decided to reroute them to the sources A33-A48 because they will come form an SD16 and that fits better to the planned wiring on stage.

Now I tried to re-route them by using the Channel routing screen on the console (version 2.0). But whatever I have selected for the copy customization, the channel name, color and icon will be taken from the source. My expectation was that when I choose CH→SRC That the name, color and icon would be taken from the channel and copied to the source.

furthermore when I do not choose one of that options the channel and source attributes will be unchanged during the re-routing.

But I can choose any of that options, the source attributes will be copied to the channel.

That’s for the console behavior.

When I use the WING Edit, Version 1.2, the behavior is slightly different. Using CH→SRC it will work as expected. the attributes will be taken from the channel and copied to the source. That’s fine, but when I either choose SRC→CH or nothing, the source attributes will be copied to the channel.

Can you please double check that and provide a version of the console firmware and WING Edit which obey these rules:

  • No copy customization will cause that whenever I re-route a channel input, the attributes name, icon and color will be untouched on both, the source and the channel

  • when I choose SRC→CH the attributes will be copied form the source to the channel

  • when I choose CH→SRC the attributes should be copied from the channel to the source.

  • this should be possible either on Main or on Alt input routing

  • and if I use CH→SRC and had on the channel used a Stereo or M/S Setup I would appreciate when that setting is also copied to the new selected source.

Kind Regards
