S16 Stagebox - maybe not the right forum…

I have two S16’s…one older with FW 2.7…and then I bought a new one two months ago…this unit includes an unreleased version called 2.8…which can’t be found on the Behringer website - what is the story here? I know there are upcoming FW version to adapt remote control from Wing etc…
