Phantom power and Dante

After contacting support, I was told that I could also post my idea here.

We have encountered the problem that activating phantom power on a Dante stagebox from the X32 does not work. However, having already seen so-called control channels in video applications, I contacted Dante to ask if it was possible to transmit such non-audio “phantom power control data”. They told me that it was now possible to set up such control channels for phantom power, and that manufacturers could get full support in embedding the system. I was also told that I should contact the manufacturer of the product, i.e. you, and make them aware of this. 

I think the ability to activate/deactivate phantom power from the X32 for Dante stageboxes would be a great improvement. Since this is already possible for AES50 stageboxes it really feels like a missing feature (at first we thought it was a bug 😂).

Could this functionality be added in a firmware update for the X32 and the X-Dante card? What is the likelihood of this happening?
