P24 Talkback settings

With the P24’s only transmitting talkback on group A even when talkback group B is selected in the settings, it limits what users can utilize the talkback groups for. In some cases it may be necessary for group B not to hear anything else than what the sound engineer is saying. However this limits the user to either hear everything (if on group A) from group A (both engineer and other musicians); or (if on group B) nothing from other musicians or themselves, and only the sound engineer. Of course the third option (group AB), would allow all which is similar to group A except what the engineer transmits on group B is included. Which isn’t much of a difference since no other musician can hear P24 talkback B anyways from the P24’s.

If you give users the option to separate the groups and hear others in the same group (group A hears all on group A, and group B hears all on group B, group AB hears all), and then if they don’t want to hear other musicians, mute internal signals.

Though that may have to be a setting that requires a restart of the P24 and when it initializes, send a code to the P24Hub to block internal routing of audio from other P24’s to that particular one. Just because it seems to me like it would make more sense for the Hub to control that. Though I do admit that I know nothing of how it is all setup on the firmware side of things.
