NO AUDIO XR18 CONNECTED TO iOS iPad
Hi guys, something crazy is happening to me, unfortunately the post will be long because I have to describe the problem in detail,
From several live shows I've done with the band, I'm having problems with USB and iOS.
We use backing track and I directly connect my XR18 to the iPad WITHOUT hub (usb b - usb c wire).
To manage the tracks we usually use Stage Traxx 3 or Camelot pro, it depends on the keyboard player's needs.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM: At a random point in the concert, the audio flow stops completely. ST3 or Camelot continues to see all mixer outputs and routing, but no more audio passes through.
The only way to unlock it is to change the clock rate on Xair (44.1 --> 48).. it starts working again and after a while at random moments.. the audio blackout comes back again.. and I find myself doing the reverse operation (48 --> 44.1) to unlock it again.
Or change the USB setting (18x18 --> 2x2)..also in this way it starts working again, but after a while it blocks again and I find myself forced to redo the reverse operation to "unblock" it (2x2 ---> 18x18)
The problem is that if during the audio blackout, I try to disconnect the xr18 and connect an external sound card... the audio starts playing again (without touching anything at all). If I disconnect the sound card and reconnect the XR18 the audio blackout persists (despite ST3 or Camelot still seeing all the outputs and routing).
After various tests.. could it be that the problem lies in the mixer? Maybe a class compliant conflict with iOS?
