Host-USB Crashing when Inactivity for a while
Hi there,
I’m experiencing following:
I’m using this USB-Stick: SANDISK Ultra® Fit USB, 256 GB (see here) which I would consider a fairly good quality USB-Stick.
I followed the recommendation from other users to format the stick with Gui-Format.
I have all my break-music on the stick sorted in various folders in 48 kHz/16-Bit Stereo .wav files.
The stick is properly recognized, I can setup playlists and once when I start a playlist it plays music for hours without any issues, clicks or pops.
Now the actual issue: When I’m not making use of the USB-Stick (e.g. not playing music from the USB but being connected) for more than 30-40 Minutes, and then I want to start the playlist again, it seems frozen. The USB-Icon is showing a warning-sign.
To solve the issue I can either unplug/plug the stick again or I can change the FS/HS mode in the setup-tab to re-init the USB-Stick again. Then it works completely fine again.
So it seems there is something in the software-side crashing when having inactivity.
Do you have any idea why this might happen and how to solve this?
Thanks
