Hope just Bugs,4th local input source of my Wing Compact consistently shows a continuous signal
Restarted, it worked fine for a while, and then the same issue occurred again.
The 4th local input source of my Wing Compact consistently shows a continuous signal, but there's actually no signal when soloed, and the RTA doesn't show any signal either. However, there's a brief hum when I press the solo button. This issue occurred with version 3.0.4, and I downgraded to the factory default (which I had backed up) 2.1-4, but the problem persists. It's only the second day since I received the unit, and I haven't taken it out to work yet. Do you have any suggestions?
I have tried resetting the device, but the problem persists. I can confirm that it is not a routing issue causing the feedback loop.
It appears to be a low frequency below 20 Hz; after switching the meter to postfader and adding a 20hz low-cut filter, it disappeared.
Along with the issue of this "inaudible noise,"
1. Disabling/agreeing to solo this channel will bring noise, and the RTA shows it. Additionally, when soloing this channel and my finger touches the plastic knob and turns the gain & other knobs, there is also noise, a feeling of electricity leakage.
2. The gain does not affect the meter display, but the trim does, so it should be positioned after the gain and before the trim. (The trim logic of Wing seems to be different from other consoles; it is not channel-based but source-based, so I cannot determine it either.)
I hope to receive assistance with the above. I am pinning my hopes on the Wing Compact being a product of superior quality that won't let me down during the tour. I am really exhausted.
