Feedback on the Console’s Lock Feature and Potential Security Concerns

Dear Behringer Support Team,

I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with the console's long-press home button lock feature. While using this feature, I accidentally touched other function buttons, and after several attempts to unlock the console, I discovered that it's possible to set a lock password through a combination of function buttons. This is a great feature that ensures the console can be securely locked, preventing even experienced users from easily unlocking it.

However, it seems that this feature is not clearly mentioned in many of the technical manuals. I can imagine a situation during a live performance where a sound engineer may accidentally trigger this lock feature and, unknowingly, apply a complex password by pressing additional function buttons. If they are unaware of this functionality, they may not be able to unlock the console and could be forced to restart it, which could pose potential safety or operational risks.

I suggest improving the visibility and communication of this feature, or better yet, implementing an option to toggle this feature on or off, with the default being off. This would help prevent engineers who are not familiar with this functionality from encountering risks during critical events.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,
