Dear Behringer Team,
With the recent Allen & Heath SQ update, users now have the ability to create customizable screens where only the most essential functions are displayed—both on the console, in the PC software, and in a dedicated app. This allows for a streamlined user experience that focuses on key controls, parameter groups, and Snippets without overwhelming the user.
Proposal: Customizable User Screens for WING
I would love to see a similar feature implemented for the Behringer WING, offering users the ability to:
• Create and fully customize one or more screens with selected functions.
• Use these screens on the console itself, in WING Edit, or a dedicated mobile app for simplified control.
• Define quick actions like muting all channels except for the speaker’s mic, starting playback, or activating the Auto-Mixer.
• Use the custom screen as a startup page when the console boots—perfect for environments like houses of worship, where volunteers may only need access to a few key controls.
• Access these simplified control pages via a web browser over the local network (similar to Soundcraft solutions).
This would be a killer feature, making the WING even more versatile and accessible, especially in situations where a full mixer interface is not needed.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
Best regards,
JP
