Enhancing Wing Console with Customizable Lighting Triggers

Dear Behringer Community,

I have a suggestion that could significantly enhance the user experience with the Wing and Wing Compact consoles. It would be amazing if we could control the lighting through various methods, such as external commands or by triggering specific thresholds, like the example Digico presented. For instance, lighting could change when a certain Talkback threshold is reached, indicating someone is speaking or a signal is clipping. Similarly, lighting could alert us if no signal is coming through, indicating a potential issue.

Additionally, since the background lighting might not always be visible, it would be great to have options like integrating an LED around the screens or changing the color of the top bar (e.g., from black to red) as a visual cue. The color could be fully customizable, depending on the event, or set to indicate different actions โ€” green for one event, red for another. This would provide an intuitive and creative way to be alerted to various events, whether they are time-based or related to the media player.

This kind of feature could be a game-changer for anyone who needs immediate visual feedback on their setup, and the possibilities are endless for customization.

Thank you for considering this idea!
