Bus to Bus not consistent

Scenario: Wing in 3.0

setup bus 1 & 2 as subgroup, channel 1 to bus view & functions as expected:

but when I want to send that subgroup (bus 1) to a 2nd subgroup (bus 2) the funtionality of the subgroup is gone and it’s a post fader bus instead of a subgroup.

and yes, bus to bus mixing is a thing :)
