It would be great fi we could buy an ethernet switch that we can plug in AES50 boxes to. Then in the routing page of consoles that use AES50, it should just show a device list to patch from. This should be on X/M32, Wing, Pro series and HD96. It is very irritating to have to patch AES50A to AES50B when we want to daisy chain X32s together. If I want to share a stage box between 2 X32s, I have to patch the AES50 ports to each other. That makes no sense. If we could do a star topology on network switches, we could just pick what IO jack we want to patch to or from.
