Ability to Swap Channel Compressor for Insert

I think this change could take the X32/M32 series of mixers to the next level professionally. Firstly, I believe being able to swap the compressor on the channel strip for one of the insertable compressors. I am almost positive the DSP would allow. For example, I like to run a 2A style on vocals but a 3A style on drums. Secondly, if not using the gate, the option to exchange it for a compressor would be game changing. I know on lead vocals, I don’t use the gate, and to have the ability to not have to use an insert and save those for my busses/mains/stream. You could have 2 instances of compression at least, and if DSP allows, be able to swap those channel compressors for insert style. So right now on on lead vocals the channel reads “gate, compression”, and after this feature it would at least read “compression, compression”, and then ideally when you would click on the compression tabs on the channel strip, you would see a 2A and an 1176 style as the two instances…or at least a channel strip compressor and a 2A. I know this is how the studiolive shows its channel strips, but there is way more potential with behringer/midas boards. Please upvote so we get this feature quicker!

After some thought and feedback, if the DSP is limited, here is an alternative: a dropdown option with the current channel compressor to mimic certain flavors of the insertable compressors with controls resembling those but in the format of the current channel compressor would suffice!
