A/B comparison or an undo of an effect

Could it be possible to have an A/B comparison button for an effect? Think about an eq: the ability to compare easily two different settings by pressing the A/B button. Or a reverb, compressor, you name it. Or maybe if this is too much, just a normal undo that reverts the last adjustment made.
